Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging tech (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech) into core business operations
- Conduct ROI and risk assessments for experimental technologies and pilot programs
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and foster a culture of experimental learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech assessment
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic systems, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and futures research methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futures studies
