Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and neural interface applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers in prototyping next-gen AR/VR ecosystems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech patents and intellectual property landscapes
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Oversee $15M R&D budget allocation for experimental technology incubation
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies on ethical AI framework development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record leading successful commercialization of experimental tech
- Expertise in AI governance frameworks and quantum algorithm development
- Experience securing government SBIR grants and DARPA partnerships
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or C++)
- Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Validated ability to translate complex scientific concepts for business audiences
