Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market impact through 2026+
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and R&D investments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology priorities
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership with data-backed recommendations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups for early innovation scouting
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory shifts affecting future technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodology frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Strong presentation skills for C-level audiences and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business/MBA preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology trends or innovation strategy
