Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps.
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate disruptive technologies with market potential.
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives.
- Monitor global tech ecosystems and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities.
- Develop intellectual property strategies and secure patents for breakthrough innovations.
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to investors and board members.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal innovation programs and external partnerships.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven track record of commercializing emerging tech.
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced materials.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-continental R&D teams.
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (papers, patents, or industry keynotes).
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
