Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to inform 2026 innovation strategy
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead incubation of experimental technologies with 5+ year commercialization horizons
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Present strategic visions to investors and industry stakeholders
- Mentor R&D teams in prototyping next-generation solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum systems, synthetic biology, or space tech
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio of executed innovation initiatives with measurable impact
