Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market evolution
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for technological adoption and implementation
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate future technologies into development lifecycles
- Build strategic partnerships with technology startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Present technology insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Drive innovation culture through thought leadership, internal workshops, and technology trend reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of successfully implementing technology transformation initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains with deep understanding of commercialization pathways
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong stakeholder management experience with ability to influence C-level executives
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation (whitepapers, patents, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting frameworks
