Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Conduct ROI analysis and risk assessments for next-gen technology investments
- Partner with product teams to integrate breakthrough innovations into customer solutions
- Represent company at global tech conferences and publish thought leadership on future trends
- Mentor cross-functional teams on technology adoption and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (portfolio of published research preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) strongly preferred
- Experience scaling technology initiatives in enterprise environments
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
