Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech fusion, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate futuristic solutions with measurable ROI
- Build and maintain an external innovation ecosystem through partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives and scenario planning
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop mitigation frameworks
- Establish KPIs to track technology adoption maturity and innovation pipeline effectiveness
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership within Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio examples required)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotechnology, or decentralized systems
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method) or relevant advanced degree
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and digital transformation
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (VCs, research labs, standards bodies)
- Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence
