Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with global market trends
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR) and their commercial applications
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Manage pilot programs and proof-of-concepts for disruptive technologies with $5M+ budgets
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the board of directors
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies across 15+ departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem
- Certified in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management
