Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching, prototyping, and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, AI ethics frameworks)
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs to identify breakthrough innovations
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish governance frameworks for responsible implementation of frontier technologies
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes to anticipate strategic pivots
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging tech adoption and future forecasting
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives from concept to market leadership
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech, or AR/VR)
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in innovation management
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management preferred
