Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruptors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify competitive advantages and market opportunities
- Present strategic frameworks to stakeholders using data-driven visualizations
- Drive innovation sprints focused on ethical tech implementation and sustainability
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future technology integration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of launching products with 7-figure+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi technique)
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario planning
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry conferences
- Ability to secure $1M+ in R&D funding through compelling proposals
