Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating next-gen technologies into product ecosystems
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for futuristic solutions
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and investors
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Author thought leadership on future tech trends for industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record forecasting and implementing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Strategic Innovation
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
