Responsibilities

- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead moonshot projects with 10x potential ROI within 24-month horizons
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation portfolios with ESG 2030 goals
- Build/lead global consortium of academic and industry R&D partners
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 50+ new IP filings annually
- Present technology roadmaps to Board of Directors and investors
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record scaling R&D budgets >$20M with measurable ROI
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, neurotech)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+ awards)
- Portfolio of commercialized technologies with >$100M revenue impact
- Global network of innovation ecosystem leaders (VCs, academia, policymakers)
