Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology trend analysis for 2026+ innovations (quantum computing, neural interfaces, ambient AI)
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Conduct scenario planning for technological adoption risks and competitive disruptions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate strategic vision into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology maturity and ROI
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AGI, biotech convergence, decentralized systems)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTe)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
