Responsibilities
- Strategic Visioning: Lead the creation of the 2026 Technology Roadmap, identifying key emerging technologies and trends that will drive business growth.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for futuristic technologies, determining their viability for immediate integration.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-suite executives and product leaders to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global tech landscapes to anticipate shifts in the industry, specifically focusing on advancements up to and including 2026.
- Innovation Culture: Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the engineering department.
- Resource Allocation: Direct budget and personnel resources toward long-term high-impact projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Technology Strategy, Product Management, or Engineering Leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior strategic role.
- Tech Fluency: Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Edge Computing, Blockchain) and their projected impact by 2026.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of successfully leading digital transformations and defining long-term technical visions.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred.
