Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and industry disruption
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and immersive technologies
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with commercial potential beyond 2026
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future tech strategies into corporate vision
- Build and manage a network of academic and industry partnerships for innovation scouting
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with data-driven impact analysis
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech implementation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, AGI, etc.)
- Experience with horizon scanning technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in translating theoretical innovation into business applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships with research institutions
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
