Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research initiatives in AI ethics, quantum-resistant cryptography, and climate-positive tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate emerging technologies into corporate strategy
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential acquisition or partnership
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futures research
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 2025+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or decentralized AI systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Published author in technology foresight or peer-reviewed research journals
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
