Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI/ML adoption, quantum computing integration, and decarbonization tech
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, bio-AI, etc.)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and mentor a high-impact innovation lab team
- Manage $50M+ R&D budget allocation across future-tech verticals
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum hardware startups and AI research institutions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to market leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, or climate tech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in future-tech frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Tech S-Curves)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's R&D ecosystem
