Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and AI ethics
- Forecast disruptive technologies and assess commercial viability
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present executive-level briefings on emerging tech risks and opportunities
- Mentor innovation teams through agile development cycles
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in AI governance frameworks and ethical tech development
- Strong quantitative modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with federal grant applications (SBIR, NSF, DARPA)
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
