Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum computing, advanced AI)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-7 year adoption timelines
- Author strategic whitepapers and briefings for executive/board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI tracking for experimental initiatives
- Represent company at global tech summits and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation portfolio management
- Fluency in English with additional languages preferred
