In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical future-tech concepts and practical, scalable engineering solutions. You will work closely with R&D teams to prototype technologies expected to dominate the market by 2026.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical roadmap for Nexus Future Labs, specifically focusing on technologies relevant to the 2026 timeline, including advanced AI and quantum computing.
- System Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure system architectures that integrate emerging technologies with legacy infrastructure.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with our research division to evaluate, prototype, and validate breakthrough technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead technical workshops and mentorship programs for engineering teams to foster a culture of innovation and forward-thinking.
- Market Analysis: Conduct deep-dive technical analysis of emerging trends to identify opportunities for competitive advantage in the 2026 landscape.
- Prototyping: Develop high-fidelity prototypes for future products, ensuring they align with our long-term vision and resource constraints.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, Rust, and experience with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
- Visionary Thinking: Demonstrated ability to anticipate technological shifts and translate them into actionable engineering strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex future-tech concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with a focus on rapid iteration and delivery.
