Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Director of Future Strategy to architect our corporate roadmap leading up to the pivotal year of 2026. In this high-impact role, you will be the architect of our long-term vision, identifying emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends to position Nexus Horizon Group as a market leader.
You will not just predict the future; you will create it. You will partner with C-suite executives to define our 2026 strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and a competitive edge in an evolving global landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 Strategic Roadmap, translating complex macro-trends into actionable business units.
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Biotech) relevant to the 2026 timeframe.
- Establish and manage Future-State Innovation Labs to prototype solutions for the year 2026 and beyond.
- Analyze regulatory and geopolitical shifts to proactively mitigate risks and capitalize on new market opportunities.
- Present quarterly strategic insights to the Board of Directors regarding long-term viability and innovation pipelines.
- Cultivate partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, or futurism.
- Proven track record of identifying disruptive trends and successfully implementing them into organizational strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize vast amounts of data into clear, concise narratives.
- Experience in a senior leadership role within the Technology or Innovation sector.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
