Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap, aligning with emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership with proven impact on future roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Track record of launching at least 3 industry-disrupting products/solutions
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD preferred) with published research
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating innovation frameworks implemented in real-world scenarios
