Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the reception area to ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors, patients, and staff.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls professionally, screen and transfer appropriately, and handle patient inquiries with empathy and accuracy.
- Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate patient records using our electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Mail & Messaging: Sort and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and packages; manage inter-departmental communications.
- Customer Service: Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a positive first and last impression for every client.
- Inventory Management: Monitor office supply levels and place orders as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer service role preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor at all times.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and EMR/EHR software.
- Organization: Strong multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail and organization.
- Reliability: Punctual, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Lexington, KY.
