Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out procedures efficiently using Epic EMR system
- Coordinate multi-specialty appointments and handle scheduling conflicts
- Answer multi-line phone system with 95% call resolution rate
- Process insurance verifications and collect co-pays accurately
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and confidentiality
- Assist with medical office supply inventory management
- Coordinate with clinical staff for seamless patient transitions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years of front desk/reception experience in healthcare setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail with financial transactions
- Basic medical terminology knowledge required
