Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, mobility, and personal care
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Transport patients safely between departments and facilities
- Support nursing staff with clinical tasks under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No prior healthcare experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable weekend and holiday availability
