Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive first impression.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items in the inventory, and provide accurate information.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions and handle payments securely.
- Maintain the sales floor and stockroom organization, ensuring products are displayed attractively and shelves are fully stocked.
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Clean and organize work areas, including breakrooms and restrooms, to uphold company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
