Responsibilities
- Assist nurses with direct patient care including vital signs, mobility, and hygiene
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to clinical staff
- Perform ECGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection procedures
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic health records
- Ensure sterile environments during procedures and equipment setup
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during night hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated treatment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA, PCT, or medical assistant certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
