As a key member of our patient care team, you'll work alongside experienced nurses and medical staff while providing essential support to patients. This full-time position includes day shifts with weekends off, ensuring work-life balance. Our onboarding program covers clinical skills, HIPAA compliance, and patient interaction protocols.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility under staff guidance
- Take vital signs and document patient information in electronic health records
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient procedures
- Transport patients safely between departments and facilities
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following OSHA standards
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during healthcare visits
- Assist nurses with clinical tasks as assigned during training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License (for patient transport duties)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation
- Strong communication skills and empathy for patients
- Reliable transportation to our Memphis facility
- Willingness to complete background check and drug screen
- No prior healthcare experience required – training provided
