Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware and software issues.
- System Administration: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer workstations, printers, and network devices.
- User Assistance: Guide non-technical staff on basic software usage and company policies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including laptops, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Help Desk Operations: Log and track all support tickets in our ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Security Compliance: Help enforce company security protocols and assist in the deployment of security updates.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience is required. A strong passion for technology is essential.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic internet browsing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: A logical approach to troubleshooting and a proactive attitude toward resolving issues.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
