Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and peripherals across the office.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts regarding system health and security.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security patches, updates, and backups.
- Conduct routine hardware inspections and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+) upon hiring.
