Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist employees with hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Ticket Management: Log and track all IT support requests in our ticketing system (ServiceNow/Zendesk) to ensure timely resolution.
- Hardware & Software Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and installation of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, Wi-Fi problems, and basic network configuration errors.
- User Training: Conduct basic training sessions for staff on new software applications and security protocols.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and perform regular audits.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot step-by-step to identify root causes.
- Availability: Must be available to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for system maintenance.
- Attitude: A genuine passion for technology and a desire to learn new technologies quickly.
