Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and hardware support for 50+ employees including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Manage software installations, updates, and license compliance across organizational systems
- Document technical issues and resolutions using our ticketing system with detailed accuracy
- Assist network administration tasks including cable management and basic configuration support
- Train staff on new technology implementations and security protocols
- Monitor system performance and escalate critical issues to senior engineers
- Participate in IT projects focusing on automation and process improvement
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and security best practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities with analytical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in team environments
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid driver's license for occasional off-site equipment pickups
