Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote access
- Deploy and configure desktop/laptop systems including OS installations and peripheral setup
- Document incident resolutions in ITSM systems with detailed ticketing procedures
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols including patch management and vulnerability assessments
- Train end-users on new technologies and best practices through workshops and documentation
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
- Monitor network performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts
- Experience with helpdesk software (ServiceNow, Zendesk) or ticketing systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Valid Kansas driver's license for occasional client site visits
