Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Deploy and configure desktop/laptop systems, printers, and network equipment
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols in Active Directory
- Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions in ServiceNow ticketing system
- Assist with server maintenance, patch management, and backup verification
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
- Conduct user training on new technologies and security best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and TCP/IP
- Experience with helpdesk software (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in server environments occasionally
