Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Assist with network administration tasks including security protocols
- Document IT procedures and maintain system documentation
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure improvement projects
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues promptly
- Participate in IT training sessions to expand technical knowledge
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant internship or academic project experience preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification or similar is a plus
