Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support for hardware/software issues including OS troubleshooting, application installations, and peripheral setup
- Assist with network maintenance tasks including cable management, switch configurations, and Wi-Fi optimization
- Manage help desk tickets with SLA adherence and customer communication
- Execute system backups, security patch deployments, and basic firewall administration
- Document IT processes, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
- Support mobile device management and cloud application deployments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in Windows OS (10/11) and basic networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware/software issues
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud services
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
