As an HR Coordinator, you will gain hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. We are looking for a proactive individual who is eager to learn, organized, and passionate about helping people succeed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for candidates in the Philadelphia area.
- Manage new hire onboarding, ensuring all paperwork, equipment, and training materials are prepared and distributed efficiently.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including open enrollment periods and answering inquiries regarding health plans and paid time off.
- Organize and coordinate company-wide events, team-building activities, and HR workshops to enhance employee engagement.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including answering phones, managing email correspondence, and filing documents.
- Conduct research on labor laws and industry trends to ensure our HR practices remain current and competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus but not required for this entry-level position.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a desire to build a long-term career in Human Resources.
- Reliable transportation to work in downtown Philadelphia.
