Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end employee onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and system access coordination
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment assistance, claim resolution, and annual open enrollment support
  • Facilitate HR compliance documentation, maintaining I-9s, personnel files, and policy acknowledgments per federal/state regulations
  • Coordinate employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution mediation and exit interview analysis
  • Support recruitment workflows by scheduling interviews, coordinating background checks, and maintaining applicant tracking systems
  • Oversee HRIS data integrity, ensuring accurate employee records in Workday and generating custom reports
  • Plan and execute employee engagement events, including recognition programs and team-building activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of progressive HR coordination experience with demonstrated expertise in onboarding and benefits administration
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (Workday experience strongly preferred)
  • PHR/SPHR certification or SHRM-SCP designation highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of Texas labor laws and federal EEOC compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to navigate sensitive employee matters diplomatically
