Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for local candidates.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all paperwork is completed and orientation materials are distributed efficiently.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll questions.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company events, team-building activities, and employee recognition programs.
- Data Analysis: Assist in compiling monthly HR reports, including attendance and turnover metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior HR experience required; internship experience is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
- Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
