Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate travel logistics for Los Angeles-based positions.
- Onboarding: Manage the new hire onboarding process, including preparing employment contracts, setting up IT accounts, and conducting orientation sessions.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, address concerns with empathy, and facilitate communication between staff and management.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system and assist in the preparation of monthly payroll reports.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company-wide events, team-building activities, and HR workshops to foster a positive company culture.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with diverse groups of people and maintain confidentiality.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
