Role Overview:
The Director of Future Technology will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate next-generation solutions into our core infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency for the 2026 horizon.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the comprehensive 2026 Technology Roadmap, aligning technical capabilities with long-term business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Quantum Computing) to drive competitive advantage.
- Lead high-impact innovation projects from conception to deployment, managing budgets and cross-functional teams.
- Establish a robust framework for R&D, ensuring continuous experimentation and prototyping of future solutions.
- Cultivate partnerships with key tech vendors, universities, and industry thought leaders to stay ahead of market shifts.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for innovation initiatives and report on progress to the C-Suite.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a strategic planning or R&D role.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to forecast industry trends and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and emerging tech stacks.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing diverse teams and driving complex technical transformations.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
