Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and order status with accuracy and patience.
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services to increase sales.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns calmly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary.
- Perform general store duties such as stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and monitoring inventory levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customer bases.
- A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with using handheld scanners and POS systems.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
