Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with precision
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions according to bank protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and promoting bank products
- Adhere to strict regulatory compliance (BANK SECURE Act, AML policies)
- Learn and master digital banking platforms and self-service technologies
- Assist with branch operational tasks such as check processing and account maintenance
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to develop financial acumen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Basic math aptitude and comfort handling cash transactions
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours
- Pass background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Valid California driver's license for potential branch transfers
- Willingness to complete paid training program and obtain banking certifications
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, email)
