Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their banking experience.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and ensure the teller drawer balances at the end of the day.
- Assist with branch operations, such as opening new accounts and answering general inquiries.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required for trainees.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Willingness to obtain a Notary Public commission upon employment.
