Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in cross-selling bank products and services to meet branch goals.
- Learn and operate bank-specific software and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile transaction records.
- Handle cash handling procedures in strict accordance with banking regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve branch operations and customer experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus but not mandatory for this Trainee role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately and quickly.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
- Willingness to obtain necessary banking certifications (S.A.F.E. registration, etc.) post-hire.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
