Responsibilities
- Process Customer Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account transfers with a high degree of precision.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve issues efficiently to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers and balances at the end of each shift; reconcile daily transactions using the Tellers Workstation system.
- Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend savings accounts, credit cards, and other financial products to meet branch sales goals.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC) policies, and internal security protocols to prevent fraud.
- Operational Support: Assist in daily branch operations, including opening/closing procedures and maintaining a clean and organized lobby.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required for our Trainee program.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills (arithmetic, percentages) and proficiency with computers and point-of-sale systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Attributes: Professional appearance, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
