Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers for a diverse client base.
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional face-to-face service, answering inquiries regarding account balances, services, and banking products with a friendly demeanor.
- Cash Management: Maintain strict accuracy in daily cash drawers, reconcile daily transactions, and ensure all cash handling procedures are followed precisely.
- Product Promotion: Proactively inform customers about our range of financial solutions, including savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), and credit cards.
- Problem Resolution: Assist in resolving customer account discrepancies and escalating complex issues to branch management while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to all banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the branch team to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred; prior banking experience is not mandatory as training is provided.
- Math Skills: Strong aptitude for basic arithmetic and financial calculations with a high level of attention to detail.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn proprietary banking software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to customers simply.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required by branch operations.
