As a Bank Teller Trainee, you will be the face of PNC, building relationships with our clients and ensuring a seamless banking experience. Our Raleigh branch offers a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued and your growth is supported.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving account inquiries and explaining banking products and services.
- Assist in the daily balancing of the teller drawer and perform rigorous cash reconciliation.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to PNC's full suite of financial services, including credit cards and investments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area, strictly adhering to all branch security and compliance policies.
- Support branch operations during peak hours and assist in administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred, but we provide extensive training for the right candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform basic math calculations with high accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check as required by banking regulations.
