As a Bank Teller Trainee, you will be the face of Valley Community Bank, ensuring every customer feels valued and understood.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, providing a superior level of service.
- Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Learn to operate the teller line efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in the identification and cross-selling of banking products to meet branch goals.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and resolve basic account inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and cash drawers.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clientele.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working a flexible schedule.
- Basic computer proficiency and eagerness to learn new software systems.
